5 DAY HAIR AND MAKEUP COURSES!

If you are passionate about being a hair and make up artist, and have no or some previous experience with hair and make up, then this is the course for you. This intensive five day course will take you from the basics up to a highly competent level of skills and understanding boosting you into the dynamic industry today. In this course, I will cover different hair and make up skills required for bridal/ high fashion/ photographic/ catwalk/ magazines/ and music videos.

Participants showing exceptional passion and skill will also be given the opportunity to get paid work/ experience with me.

Receive a training manual on topics covered on the course as well as business advice, kit building tips and legislations.

How to become a successful make up artist
Make up artist hygiene
All about different skin types and product knowledge ,eg what foundations are suitable for differant skin types
Prep and prime the skin
Foundations and contouring
Concealers and highlighters
Its all about the eyes
Eyeliner application techniques,use of false lashes
Cutcrease, smokey and arabic eye makeup techniques
complete various makeup looks using loose pigments,glitters, liners,cream and powder blushes,lip glosses,application of lipsticks ect
Colour wheel use and theory

Day 2

Bridal make up
Registry makeup
Photographic make up colour correcting and extreme contouring
Application of eye makeup, completing makeup looks

Day 3

12 Hairstyles over 2 days
Bridal hair; simple and elaborate detailing
Bridal designs & Couture party styling
Back combing and creating beau fonts
creating barrel curls,pinculs,loops,knots,french roll plaits and braids
Get creative with hair – thinking outside the box

Day 4

Different types of curls
Vintage waves
Registry/Reception Hairstyling
Styles with hair extensions and hair pieces
volumised hair,creating big hair for bridal and formal updo's
Creative hair

Day 5

Portfolio and assessment day
Create your first portfolio
2 looks each with a professional model and photographer.
Recive your certificate
